WHAT ARE YOU FOCUSED ON
We all have a testimony of our lives.
You can use your testimony as a tool you use to bring a lost soul into the light.
Many people think I have been so bad that God couldn't possibly want them or
love them.
The Lord leads us to those who our testimony could possibly reach them so they
will realize that they are loved no matter what the world tells them.
We are not to focus on the past.
We are not to focus on the future.
The past is in the sea of the forgetfulness.
You were forgiven for them already when you asked Jesus into your heart.
The future is no guarenteed to us.
Focus on Jesus, also on today.
When you focus on the past you could be tempted to go back for a while.
That is when you back slide and find yourself in a mess that is very familiar.
So use your testimony as a tool in the Lords work like the spiritual gifts you
receive from the Lord.
Focus on what the Lord is teaching you.
There is nothing you can do about the past.
Focus on the here and now.
Keep your eyes on the Lord.
Don't focus on worldly things, that is what the enemy wants.
If we keep focused on Jesus there is nothing that can come between you and
God.
There is much the Lord teaches us through the Bible.
Focus on Godly things.
Learn to listen for the Lord to speak to you.
Ask God to help you recognize His voice.
Learning to know Gods voice was hard for me.
There was a time or 2 that it was not God and I really got myself in a mess.
Some call it your conscience.
I have heard His voice and it took my breath away.
Either way check the scriptures to make sure the enemy isn't trying to deceive
you.
It is so awesome walking in Christ.
Stay focused on Jesus and you will grow in Him.
God wants us to enjoy life.
There will be times when you grow tired.
But if you turn to the Lord He will give you rest.
If you are hurting look to Him for His compassion it is like no other.
If you are grieving for a loved one or a friend He will comfort you.
If you are worried He will give you a peace of mind.
If you are weak and can't go on He will carry you.
God loves all of His children with a true pure love that you can't get anywhere
else.
So open yourself to the Lord and let Him work through you.
You will feel His love, joy, peace, hope, compassion, and freedom that you can
only get from God.
My prayer is that who ever reads these words, the Lord gave me, will focus on the
Lord and will grow in the Lord. That you will love, trust, and depend on Him
for all your needs.
