PERSONAL FAVORITISM
This message is another one of those things that needs to be addressed.
We all have a tendancy to pick and choose and show favoritism.
In school when they picked sides for a ball team I was always picked last.
I was the fat kid that couldn't hit the ball, run fast, or even catch the ball.
I have to admit I was pretty useless when it came to sports.
If you had 2 people you witnessed to one was homeless and the other one was
fairly well to do which one would you invite to church?
Your answer should be both even though the homeless person prabably smells
bad and their clothes are filthy but God loves both equally the same.
But if you choose one over the other when the time comes God will not choose
you.
Read James 2;1-13 and it will tell you that favoritism is a sin.
It is a stern warning against favoritism.
One of Gods laws is to love your neighbor as you do yourself.
God wants all of the lost souls to be lead into the light.
Why is it the poor person is more thankful and praises the Lord for all their
blessings?
The rich man has so much to be thankful for yet he gives no thanks to the Lord.
The rich man gives the credit to himself because he has worked hard for what he
has achieved in his life.
He has made himeself a god.
The laws God gives us are to be obeyed.
If God can love all of us why do we feel like we are better than someone else?
Who are we that we think we know better than God who belongs in His Kingdom?
My fellow Christians we need to wake up and do as God has directed us to do.
My prayer is that who ever reads these words, the Lord has given me, will treat
their fellow man with respect and show no favoritism to someone that has
more than the next person.
God bless you and your family, may the Lord keep you close to Him.
PRAISE GOD THE FATHER, JESUS OUR SAVIOR, AND THE HOLY SPIRIT
THAT LIVES WITHIN ALL CHRISTIANS.
