MYSTERY REVEALED
PART 1
The mysteries being revealed in this word, from the Lord, are those of
of Christ Jesus and the changes made on the cross.
They are being revealed to the Gentiles and Jews alike.
Ephesians 3:1 says; For this reason I Paul, the prisoner of Christ
Jesus for you Gentiles-
Paul is reminding them who he was in the past but that now his
ministry is to them now.
The teachings of the Lord Christ Jesus is his ministry.
Paul never tried to hide his past and in many cases Pauls testimony
drew people to the Lord because his life was so drastically
changed.
Ephesians 3:2-4 says; if indeed you have heard of the dispensation of
the grace of God which was given to me for you, has that by
revelation. He made know to me the mystery (as I have briefly
written already by which, when you read you may understand my
knowledge in the mystery of Christ),
Paul was the chosen one, by Jesus, to tell the Gentiles about Him.
Dispensation means stewardship and Paul had become a steward over
the Gentiles.
Acts 26:16 says; But rise and stand on your feet for I have appeared
to you for the purpose, to make you a minister and a witness
both of the things which you have seen and of the things which I
will yet reveal to you.
Paul had a heart for God, so when Jesus appeared to him and told
Paul what he was to do he got busy and did just as the Lord told
him.
Brothers and sisters in the Lord this is what we should be doing.
The time is short and for every tick of the clock we are that much
closer to the end of the world as we know it.
Romans 11:25 says; For I do not desire, brethren, that you should be
ignorant of this mystery, lest you should be wise in your own
opinion, that blindness in part has happened to Isael until the
fullness of the Gentiles has come in.
Paul is saying that unless we know the truth we will form our own
opinion and think we know as much as God.
Paul is also saying that is what happened to the Israelites.
They formed their own opinion and they did not get it right.
When Jesus spoke they heard but did not receive the words of the
Lord.
The mystery Paul is revealing is the mystery of salvation.
The Israelites would not believe the gospel of Jesus Christ that Paul
preached.
That is why Paul was directed to go to the Gentiles and reveal the
mystery of salvation to them.
Also Paul was telling the Gentiles that they had equal statis in the
Body of Christ, (the church).
Ephesians 3:5-6 says; Which in other ages were not made known to
the sons of men, as it has now been revealed by the Spirit to His
holy apostles and prophets: that the Gentiles should be fellow
heirs, of the same body, and partakers of His promise in Christ
through gospel,
The people in the Old Testiment had a good understanding of God and
His grace.
The prophets told that the Gentiles would receive Gods grace.
What they did not know was that they would be equal with the Jews
in one body was not revealed to them.
That is the mystery the apostels and the prophets were to reveal
when Christ returned to our Heavenly Father.
Galatians 3:28-29 says; There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is
neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female for you are
all one in Christ Jesus. And if you are Christ's then you are
Abraham's seed and heirs according to the promise.
The Jewish people thought themselves above others because they are
God's chosen people.
Im' sure that is why the Pharisies were fighting mad.
They wanted the power and prestige and with the changes they were
equals and did not like it.
That is also why we should not act as if we are better than the lost
souls.
God loves all the people just as they are.
But the only way they can spend eterniy in God's kingdom is to give
their hearts to the Lord and then live for Him and serve Him for all
the days of their lives.
Ephesians 3:7 says; Of which I became a minister according to the
gift of the grace of God given to me by the effective working of
His power.
Minister was the word Paul used but Paul was truly a servant to God.
The scriptures I used for this word, the Lord gave me, are:
Ephesians 3:1-7, Acts 9:15, 22:17, 22:21, 26:16,
Romans 11:25, 15:25, 15:16, 1:5, 15:18, Galatians 3:28-29,
Colosians 1:27, 2:2-3, Genisis 12:3, 1 Timothy 1:15.
Before I started writing the series of words out of the Bible I really did
not read the Bible enough.
That is why the Lord changed the way I was writing.
I believe the Lord wants us all to read more in the Bible to get to
know Him better. So I encourage you to read all of these scriptures
and see what the Lord shows you He didn' show me.
My prayer is that who ever reads these word, the Lord gave me, will
have a better understanding of God's love for all people. That you
will witness to the lost souls. I pray that you will find these series
of words a good witnessing tool. Also that you are encouraged by
them for they are from the Lord.
God bless you and your family, may the Lord keep you close to Him.
PRAISE GOD THE FATHER, JESUS OUR SAVIOR, AND THE HOLY SPIRIT
THAT LIVES WITHIN ALL CHRISTIANS.
