MYSTERY PURPOSE PT 2
Ephesians 3:8 says; To me, who am less than the least of all the
saints, this grace was given, that I should preach among the
Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ.
You can see here that Paul was humble and did not get a big head
when the Lord gave him all of his gifts.
He truly felt blessed to have a ministry so important as to teach the
Gentiles about Jesus Christ.
When Paul was converted to a Christian his heart was filled with the
desire to lose self.
In prison or walking or preaching he never took his eyes off the Lord.
No matter what was going on around him he praised the Lord.
Ephesians 3:9 says; and to make all see what is the fellowship of the
mystery, which from the begining of the ages has been hidden in
God who created all things through Jesus Christ.
Pauls mission was to enlighten all the people of the mystery since the
coming of Jesus Christ and His death.
1 Corinthians 15:9 says; For I am the least of the apostles, who am
not worthy to be called an apostle, because I persacuted the
church of God.
Paul never put on that he was special.
The one thing that his testimony showed is that even someone who
had put many Christians put in prison and even killed, that Gods
grace could cover any and all sins.
Praise the Lord for His grace is sufficiant.
Colossians 1:27 says; To them God willed to make known what are
the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles, which
is Christ in you, the hope in glory.
With the teachings of Jesus Christ the mystery was Jews and Gentiles
alike in the Body of Christ and the Holy Spirit in us.
Colossians 2:2-3 says; that their hearts may be encouraged, being
knit together in love, and attaining to all riches of the full
assurance of understanding, to the knowledge of the mystery of
God, both of the Father and of Christ.
Paul is trying to make them understand that through Christ Jesus that
the riches are theirs too.
That the false teachings they had been receiving were wrong for they
were as one because of Christ in them.
Ephesians 3:10 says; to the intent that now the manifold wisdom of
God might be made known by the church to the princepalities and
powers in the heavenly places,
Paul is saying that no one knew of the mistery of salvation except God
Himself.
God gave Paul the revelation on salvation to teach the church.
Even the angels didn't know, they were learning as man was learning.
That is why Satan thought that once he killed Jesus he had won.
Ephesians 3:11 says; according to the eternal purpose which He
accomplished in Christ Jesus our Lord,
Because we have all fallen short of God's Kingdom, God sent His only
Son to pay the wages for our sins.
But now we have a chance of eternal life in Christ.
Ephesians 2:12 says; in whom we have boldness and access with
confidence through faith in Him.
The Holy Spirit gives us the boldness that we need when we need it.
We also have access to God now but before Jesus we didn't.
We have confidence through faith in Jesus and the Holy Spirit that
leads us.
We know through the word that He will never leave or forsake us.
He protects us when we are in danger.
We know that no one or nothing can defeat Jesus.
Ephesians 3:13 says; Therefore I ask that you do not lose heart at
my tribulations for you, which is your glory.
Here Paul was talking abou Gods glory and He would supply all their
needs and more.
The purpose of keeping the mystery of salvation was first it wasn't
the right time.
Then there is the fact that Satan thought he had the idea to kill
Jesus.
Little did he know that it was Gods plan all along.
If he had known he would have made sure Jesus had a long healthy
life.
By keeping it a mystery we have a way to be part of God's Kingdom.
God only gives us revelation on a need to know basis.
Timing is a key to revelation also.
Then you figure God has a plan so He gets His ducks all in a row so
that the plan works out.
Then and only then will God give you the knowledge that you will
need.
The sciptures I used in this lesson, that the Lord gave me, are:
Ephesians 3:8-13, 1:4, 1:11, 1Corinthians 15:9, 11:10,
2 Corinthians 1:6, Colossians 1:27, 2:2-3, 1:1, 1:5, 1:16, 2:10
Philippians 1:14, Hebrews 1:2, 4:16, 10:19, 10:35, 1Peter 1:12
1Timothy 3:16, 1:15.
I urge you to read all these scriptures.
God has revelation for all those who seek knowledge.
My prayer is that all who read these words, that the Lord gave me,
will have a better understanding of God and why sometimes He
doesn't give us all the information we ask for. That you will wait
on the Lord and let Him get all the ducks in a row so things will
work out in His plan for your life.
God bless you and your family, may the Lord keep you close to Him.
PRAISE GOD THE FATHER, JESUS OUR SAVIOR, AND THE HOLY SPIRIT
THAT LIVES WITHIN ALL CHRISTIANS.
