DO YOU REALLY WANT TO BE HEALED
Many prople say that they want to be healed.
My question to you is do you really want the Lord to heal you?
I heard a minister speaking about her husbands Healing Ministry.
They went all over the world and she saw many healed.
Then she told of a woman who came to the alter.
She had dark glasses on and everyone knew she was blind.
She asked the pastor can you make me see?
He told her the Lord could give her sight.
She took off the glasses and she had no eyes.
The pastor looked to the heavens and said, Lord I told her You could give her
sight
But Lord she has no eyes.
The Lord spoke to the pastor, you do your part and I will do My part.
So the pastor laid hands on her and when they finished praying she opened her
eyes and she could see.
Everyone was in awe that she could see when she had no eyes when she was
prayed for.
There are many people who say the Lord does not heal now.
The next day the woman came back.
She asked the pastor if he would make her blind again.
He told her that he didn't gove her sight that the Lord did and he would not pray
for such a thing.
The reason she wanted to be blind again was because there was a change
coming in her life and she was scared.
She lived in a house for the blind.
She had never worked before so she had no skills.
She had a small check she received every month for her personal need some-
thing like a pension.
They were going to stop the income.
They told her she would have to move.
Fear gripped that woman.
The enemy put it in her head see what God did now you have no money, no
place to live, and no skills to get a job.
Let me ask you this, why would God give her sight to leave her homeless, no
money, and unable to work for lack of skills?
Jesus died on the cross for her.
Does this sound like the Israelites when they were in the desert?
They asked why did God take us from Egypt so we would starve to death.
Our God is love.
He would not let us starve, or be homeless, with no hope for the future.
God gave her sight back, He had a plan for her life.
What a wonderful witness for te Lord she would be.
It isn't that God doesn't heal anymore.
Many people don't want to be healed.
The question is why don't they?
A big part is the fear of loosing their income.
The fear of how their lives will change.
One of the reasons is really sad, it is simply they are lazy and don't want to
work.
They just want to sit back and collect their money and all the free stuff they can
get.
When we say we want healed the Lord can see in our hearts and know if we
really want a healing.
That is why we don't see a lot of people being healed.
Some say that only the lost souls wouldn't want to be healed.
That is not so.
There are many Christians that think as the Lady that wanted to be blind again.
What does that tell you about how much faith, or should I say lack of faith, the
Christians have in this day and age.
My prayer is that who ever reads these words, the Lord gave to me, will search
themself. Do you need a healing? Do you want to be healed?
Do you
need a boost in your faith? Ask God to help.
