                                ALL HAVE SINNED

This lesson is on sinning.

Who has sinned?

The Bible tells us all have sinned ans fallen short of Gods Kingdom.

How  can we get rid of the sin?

So lets see what God has to say on this subject.

Romans 3:9 says;  What then?  Are we bertter than they?  Not at all.  For we
have previously charged both Jews and Greeks that  they are all under sin.

In this verse Paul is saying that all people have been born with sin because of
     Adam and Eve.

We have no right to point out the sins of others and think that we are better.

There are no people that can say they have never sinned.

Even if we have thought evil or wicked thoughts that is a sin.

It is like we already have done it.

Galatians 3:22  says;  But the Scripture has confined all under sin, that the
promise by faith in Jesus Christ might be given to those who believe.

Paul is talking about how the old testament all have sinned but there was a
promise made made that would take our sins away.

Wnen Gods only begotten Son died on the cross a new covenant was sealed.

Jesus died for all the sins of the world.

If you believe Jesus Christ is Gods only begotten , are living in the ways of Christ,
you are justified by the blood of Christ.

It is like you have never sinned in yur life.

Romans 3:10 says;  As it is written, There is none righteous no, not one.

Every man, woman, and child are born under sin.

Our flesh will lead us further into sin.

With each sin it beccomes easier to commit bigger sins.

We forsake our Heavenly Father to please our flesh.

There are none who are righteous.

As long as we are living in sin we can't be righteous.

No not one is righteous.

Psalms 14:1-3 says;  1.  We have heard with our ears, O God,  Our fathers have
told us, The deeds You did in their days,  In days of old.  2.  You drove out
the nations with Your hand, But them You planted;  You afflicted the peoples
and cast them out.  3.  For they did not gain possession of the land by their
own swords, Nor did their own arm save them;  But it was Your right hand,
Your arm, the light of Your contenance, Because You favored them.

When they talk about they had heard from their fathers the stories of Moses
leading the Israelites out of Egypt.

Even though their parents didn't see the promised land they told their children
of the errors of their ways.

They taught their children to follow the laws God gave to Moses.

In the second verse even though God was angry, with His chosen people He drove
all of the others out of their land.

He paved the way for the Israelites to enter into the land of milk and honey.

God promised them the land and they did indeed receive it once the older gener-
     ation had all passed away.

God allowed Moses to see the land of milk and honey, but he was not allowed to
     enter into it.

The third verse goes on to tell us that all who entered the land of milk and honey
knew how they had come to be in the new land.

They knew it was all God.

It was His right haqnd, His arm, and His light that shinned through and His love for
     them.

Psalms 53:1-3 says;  1.  The fool has said in his heart, "There is no God."  They
are corrupt, and have done abominable iniquity;  There is none who does good
     2.  God looks down from heaven upon the children of men, To see if there are
     any who understand, who seek God.  3.  Every one of them has turned aside;
They have together become corrupt;  There is none who does good, No not
     one.

Even today many say that there is no God.

But that is truly foolish thinking.

The mountains, flowers, trees and all living things can testify to the one true God.

He spoke and it was done and it is good.

Now one else can speak anything into exsistance.

Those who think there is no God live in sin.

One corrupts the next generation.

Until there are none who are seeking the Lord.

As God looks down from heaven but sees no one seeking Him it hurts Him.

He could not find any one who understood Him.

The people of today don't understand that God is all about love.

The love He has for each one of us.

If we could just grasp that thought and get it from our minds to our hearts it
     would bless Gods socks off.

To know Him is to love Him but not only Him but mankind as well.

In the third verse they talk about not doing good, none of them.

Too many times we follow man instead of God.

When we do that man will lead us straight to hell.

There is no gray area, you are either for God or for man.

If you are for God you will have ever lasting life in Gods Kingdom.

But if you choose man you will be sent to hell for eternity.

It is each idividuals choice who they want to serve.

I pray that you will choose God.

Ecclesiastes 7:20 says;  For there is not a just man on earth who does good,
     And does not sin.

God is simply showing that all of mankind is born in sin.

There is not one who was born on earth that had no sins except for Jesus Christ
     our Lord and Savior.

We must all seek the Lord and walk in His ways.

To seek Him in all we do so that He will be given all of the glory and honor.

Romans 3:11 says;  There is none who understands; There is none who seek
     after God.

There is no one who understands God unless God gives you the wisdom to under-
     stand.

But also we must ask God for the wisdom to understand Him more through His
     word.

Now for the next question.

Were you seeking God when you gave your heart to Jesus?

I for one wasn't seeking God.

But God has a way of getting our attention.

God had an obediant sister in the Lord to land smack dab in the middle of my life.

Before I knew what was happening I saw something in her that I wanted.

That something was and is Jesus Christ, Gods only begotten son, who died on
     the cross for our sins.

So you see God sought me out not the other way around.

When we are called it is up to us to answer the call.

Romans 3:12 says;  They have all turned aside;  They have together become un-
profitable;  There is none who does good, no, not one.

God repeats Himself many times from the Old to the New Testament.

The reason is we are, mankind, a very hard headed lot.

God is reminding us that we have all turned away from Him.

Our purpose on this earth is to spread the good news about Jesus Christ our Lord
     and Savior.

If we aren't  doing that than our lives have been unprofitable.

Without Jesus in our lives no one is doing good things.

Only when we allow ourselves to be open to Christ, let Him work through us are
we capable of doing good things.

My friends don't be so foolish as to think you have done these things on your own

Give God all the credit and the glory.

Seek Gods will for your life time on the earth.

Romans 3:13 says;  "Their throat is an open tomb;  With thier tongues they have
practiced deceit".  "The poison of asaps is under their lips,"

What our minds think, the vocal cord sounds out, and the tongue speaks.

If you are not speaking in Gods truths then what you are speaking is deceitful and
of no use to our Lord God.

You will not draw the lost into the light.

Deceit will only lead you down the wide path of damnation and eternity in hell.

The poison, lies, are spread out over all who will listen to their lies.

The hearts of those who deceive others is compared to a tomb.

The deceit buried in our hearts is the seed of death.

Psalms 5:9 says;  For there is no faithfulness in their mouths;  Their inward part
is destruction;  Their throat is an open tomb;  They flatter with their tongues.

There is no faithfulness in their mouths, they don't praise and worship God.

What is in their hearts is destruction, for there is no love in their hearts for God or
     their fellow man.

There is no love, compassion, faithfulness, or truths in them.

They are walking dead in their sins and don't even realize it.

They flatter others only to get what they want it is purely selfishness.

It is a means to the end for what they want whether it is things, power, or others
looking up to them, it is all self serving.

Psalms 140:3 says;  They sharpen their tongues like a serpant;  The poison of
asps is under their lips.  Selah

Sharpening their tongues like a serpant is reffering to Satan.

You are doing his biding if you are not serving God.

The poison is the lies Satan wants to push down our throats so he can take as
many of Gods children as he can.

Satan know the end and he wants to take many with him to hurt God.

We all need to wake up and realize what garbage is being spoken.

Romans 3:14 says;  Whose mouth is full of cursing and bitterness.

Our life on earth is not always smooth sailing.

Storms come and go.

Sometimes God calms the storm.

Sometimes He calms the storm in us.

Some people get angry with God and curse Him.

They are bitter with the lot they received in life.

Which, by the way, is usually caused by bad choices on our part.

Or you can come out of the storms stronger and wiser than you were going into
     the storm.

Knowing in your heart that the Lord was with you the whole time and kept you
     safe.

The enemy wants us to believe that God is a cruel God.

I pray that you won't believe that,  it is a lie straight from hell.

God loves us so much that we can't even imagine how much that is.

He only wants good things for His children, all of the time.

Psalms 10:7 says;  His mouth is full of cursing and deceit and oppression.  un-
der his tongue is trouble and iniquity.

In this verse God points out not only cursing, deception, but also oppression.

The enemy wants to keep you down.

He doesn't want you to know that God wants to bless us greatly.

With only the best of gifts of love.

The enemy will try to divide the Body of Christ, constantly stirring up trouble.

Passing off some sins as acceptable life styles.

All lies to destroy the Body of Christ.

Romans 3:15 says;  Their feet are swift to shed blood.

People that live apart from our Lord Jesus Christ tend to be violent.

They hide in the shadows and attack the innocent.

They murder and kill because they have no respect life.

Proverbs 1:16 says;  For their feet turn to evil, And they make haste to shed
     blood.

Man will do evil, even run to it because we are all born under sin.

Tempers will flair and violence will be a normal behavior until you turn to God.

Once you turn to God you will be filled with love, compassion, hope and faithful-
     ness to God.

The evil ways will flee because there can be no darkness in the light of the Lord.

Isaiah 59:7-8 says;  7.  There feet run to evil, And they make haste to shed inno-
cent blood;  Their thoughts are thoughts of iniquity;  Wasting and destruction
are in their paths.  8.  The way of peace they have not known,  And there is no
justice in their ways;  They have made themselves crooked paths;  Whoever
takes that way shall not know peace.

In verse seven those who give no peace to others will not find peace themselves.

They will run here and there in confussion and waste time.

Everything in their path will be destroyed.

They will look for peace but as long as they chase evil  ways they will find none.

They will kill the innocent literally or by deception, either way they will have to
     account for the lost life.

Their every thought will be on this sin or that and try to convince others that it is
     okay everyone is doing it.

But alcohol, drugs, homosexuality, abortion, stealing, lying , all are sins and not
okay at all in Gods eyes.

They have never found peace and never will as long as they live in sin.

There is no justice because they know no truth.

They will seek out the weak and see what they can do to make it hard for them.

The road they travel is crooked so they can hide in the darkness and wait for the
     innocent to come by.

Whoever follows the wicked, crooked path will never find peace.

Romans 3:16 says;  Destruction and misery are in their ways.

Those who hae no respect for life think nothing of taking a life.

They don't even care about themselves, whether they live or die.

That is because they don't have any hope for a better day ahead.

Without God there is no hope or love of life that there are better times coming.

Romans 3:17 says;  And the way of peace they have not known.

You see Satan is the father of confussion.

If you are not serving God you are serving Satan.

Satan is also a liar, thief and comes to destroy and kill Gods children.

On the other hand God is love, hope, faithfulness, and peace.

Jesus came to earth from heaven to give life to all who will seek Him.

Romans 3:18 says;  "There is no fear of God before their eyes."

All I can say to those who do not have a healthy fear of God is you best be believ-
ing that there is no one or no thing that can defeat God.

God is an all powerful, all knowing God.

He is righteous, holy , and always good.

But He is also a just God so if you are living in sin you will be punished.

Turn away from your sin and reach out to the Lord our God and ask for forgive-
     ness.

God is slow to anger and quick to forgive.

Psalms 36:1 says;  An oracle within my heart concerning the transgressions of
the wicked:  There is no fear of God before his eyes.

Oracle means:  A person of great wisdom.

The ways of the wicked weighed heavy on his heart.

He knew the fate of their evil ways.

No Christian should want to see anyone condemned to hell for eternity.

Their unbelief in God caused them to have no fear of Him.

Why would you fear something that did not exsist?

God is real and a mighty God He is!!

Romans 3:19 says;  Now we know that whatever the law says to those who are
under the law, that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may be-
     come guilty before God.

All men are under the law and when we face Jesus on judgement day there will
     be no excuses.

His judgement will be just no matter whether you are Jewish, Gentiles, or Greeks
all will face Jesus and they will be judged the same.

Man will not speak only lower his head in silence.

John 10:34 says;  Jesus answered them, "Is it not written in  your law, I said,
     "You are gods"

In the Old Testament, the judges were reffered to as gods.

For they were doing godly works as they judged those who broke the law.

But Jesus was telling them, those who judged, that He was the Son of God.

But they blasphemed Jesus by calling Him a liar.

Romans 3:20 says;  Therefore by the deeds of the law no flesh will be justified in
His sight, for by the laws is the knowledge of sin.

God gave Moses the laws not to justify one from his/ her sins but to point them
     out.

Our flesh will always be in the sinful nature but our spiritual self will want to serve
     God.

The only way we can be justified is through the blood of Jesus Christ our Lord
     and Savior.

Galatians 2:16 says;  knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law
but by faith in Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Christ Jesus, that we
might be justified by faith in Christ and not by the works of the law;  for by the
works of the law no flesh will be justified.

The only way man can be justified is by Gods grace through faith in Jesus Christ.

No man can be justified by his works so that we all must realize our need for
     God in our lives.

Salvation is free all we have to do is believe Jesus is Gods only begotten Son,
ask Him to be Lord of your life, and repent from your sins.

Learn to walk in the ways of our Lord Jesus Christ.

The scriptures I used for this lesson are:  Romans 3:9-20,  Galatians 3:22,  2:16,
     Psalms 14:1-3,  5:9,  53:1-3,  140:3,  10:7,  36:1,  Ecclesiastes 7:20,
     Proverbs 1:16,  Isaiah 59:7-8,  John 10:34.

My prayer is that who ever reads this lesson, the Lord has given me, will read all
the scriptures and more.  That your desire to know the Lord more grows with
each lesson.  I pray also that you realize that without Jesus there is no justi-
facation for the flesh other than faith in Christ Jesus.

God bless you and your family, may the Lord keep you close to Him.

PRAISE GOD OUR FATHER, JESUS OUR SAVIOR, AND THE HOLY SPIRIT
     THAT LIVES WITHIN ALL CHRISTIANS.
