THE WOE IS ME CHRISTIAN
Do you know any woe is me Christians?
They wake up in the morning oh my back hurts.
I just can't get my legs to work any more.
I have this head ache that just won't go away.
The kids won't help me at all.
I can't pay the bills there just isn't enough money.
When someone asks how they are doing they hear it all.
Why would anyone want to be a Christian if this is an example of a Christians
life?
They say the enemy has been attacking me.
But the enemy doesn't have to attack them because they are doing a fine job
pushing the lost souls away from the Lord Jesus Christ our Savior.
They don't even realize that the reason they are in the situation is because of
their own choices.
They claim ailments that they sould be giving to the Lord.
There is a big difference between asking for prayer and this woe is me attitude.
Just what are the things the woe is me Christian missing?
For one thing faith.
They are showing no faith that the Lord is with us and will provide all of our needs
and heal us when we are sick or hurting.
For another there is no joy.
They are not happy always complaining about what they don't have.
The other thing is hope.
There is no sign that there is hope in their life when all they do is moan and
groan.
They show no signs that God is everything and there is none that can knock God
down or defeat Him.
They do give the enemy more power than he has.
Always saying the enemy did this or that.
As Christians we should be giving God all the glory in everything good in our lives.
To be thankful for what we do have.
To wake up in the morning, no matter what hurts, and say, good morning Lord
this is a great day for it is a day You have made and you are allowing me
me to be in Your presence once again.
If you only have food for one meal praise the Lord for the food that filled you that
day and for the food He will provide tomorrow.
If your car won't run praise the Lord for those who will give you a ride when you
need to go some where.
If they shut off your power praise the Lord for the candles and lanterns that you
have for emergencies.
When I go to bed and know that the Lord is with me no fear enters into the
darkness.
In the light of day the beauty around me shows me how much the Lord loves me.
Let it rain, snow, sunshine, falling leaves brightly colored in the fall, God made a
beautiful place for His children to live.
So if you see some of the woe is me in you get rid of it.
Pity parties are for the lost because they don't know how much the Lord loves
them or that there is even a God who is in control.
Christians we are living in the light.
Let that light shine through you.
Smile a lot so the joy of the Lord, that He put in your heart, shows on your face
and in your eyes.
If someone knows that you are struggling financially just blow it off and say God
will provide all of my needs.
Don't just say it, mean it, know that God will help you no matter what the
situation is.
Sometimes God uses man to help you.
But don't go crying on mans shoulder depending on them to help you.
Man will let you down every time.
You see when the lost souls see you depending on God and then sees how God
blesses those who trust, love, and have faith in Him it will draw the lost to the
light.
We are human so pity parties are something we do.
If you catch yourself doing the pity party thing stop and think how much God
loves you and how many blessings you have received and you will find yourself
smiling.
I have found myself having a pity party and if I can't shake it I close myself in so
I won't discourage a lost soul from coming into the light because of my bad
behavior.
My prayer is that who ever reads these words, that the Lord gave me, will see that
in order to draw the lost souls into the light the light has to shine through us.
There is no light in the gloom and doom only darkness. The lost are already
in the dark. Let the Lord shine through you.
