HUMILITY CURES WORLDLINESS
The last few words the Lod has given me is on the laws, Gods laws.
First I looked up humble: Not proud or haughty, not arrogant or
assertive. Reflecting expressing or offered in a spirit of deference
or submission.
Humility: the quality or state of being humble.
As Christians we should know that we always have to go before the
Lord humbly.
How else would one go before the creator of the heavens, earth, and
the things under the earth?
The problem being our flesh gets a little big for our britches.
Sometimes we go before the Lord telling Him how things should be.
We go to Him in prayer demanding what ever is on our pea brains.
The flesh in us is what desires the things of the world.
It is also what the enemy works on.
This is why we must die to self and give all to Jesus.
Then nothing of the world will interest us.
James 4:7 says, "Therefore sumit to God. Resist the devil and he will
flee from you."
We must resist anything that the evil one throws at us.
To do this we must put aside our selfish pride.
We must also have to put on the full armor of God.
We must emerse ourselves in the word of God.
When you do these things the evil one must flee from you, he will
have no choice.
James 4:8 says, "Draw near to God and He will draw near to you.
Cleans your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you
double-minded.
We must go to the Lord humbly and draw nearer to Him.
The reason we are called double-minded is that we praise the Lord
one minute and the next our flesh desires the things of the world.
Another thing is when our flesh leads us to do something that in Gods
eyes is sinful, we laugh, smile, and feel good.
But that my friends is the enemy deceiving you.
You took your eyes off the Lord and gave into your flesh.
Learn the laws God gives us and when you find yourself indulging in
sin and stop what you are doing.
The Holy Spirit in you will bring you back and the guilt and shame will
hit you like a ton of bricks.
James 4:10 says, "Humble yourself in the sight of the Lord, and He
will lift you up.
When you humble yourself to the Lord your eyes are opened and you
see the ugliness of the sin and the beauty of the grace of God.
My prayer is that who ever reads these words, that the Lord gave
me, will humble themselves before the Lord. That you will
remember that when you are in the Lord the evil one has no
choice he must flee from the Lord that is in you.
God bless you and your family, may the Lord keep you close to Him.
PRAISE GOD THE FATHER, JESUS OUR SAVIOR, AND THE HOLY SPIRIT
THAT LIVES WITHIN ALL CHRISTIANS.
