SALVATION PART THREE
In the first two parts of salvation we learned what salvation is. We learned who
salvation is for. We learned why we need salvation.
These lessons are like building a house. The first thing you do is build the
foundation. Then you do the frame work and roof. But if the foundation is not
right the house will fall down with the first strong storm that comes along.
You start at the foundation and work your way up. As long as you use all
the right materials and don't cut corners, when your house is done it will with-
stand any storm that it may have to go through.
Before I started this series of studies on salvation I had no idea just how
much God put into the plan of salvation. That is why it has taken me so long
between lessons. But God is teaching me so that I can teach others with the
truths that He has given to me.
I thought just how much can one say that would pretty much put salvation
in a nut shell and that was all that could be said. I am here to tell you God has
certainly put me in my place. He has shown me just how ignorant I have been
when it comes to something that is so important to all of mankind.
When I started researching the scriptures and found out just how much
thought God put into His plan for salvation. Unlike any plan that mankind will
make with all the loop holes. Gods plan of salvation has no loop holes it is very
much woven together so that no one can just say well you did not say we had
to do this or that. No Gods plans are always perfect.
Mankind is the one who cuts corners when they build a building. They use
less concrete for the foundation. They use cheap materials so they can cut the
cost and bottom line looks better. But how many buildings have you seen that
have been turned into rubble in a storm? They have to be cleaned up and hauled
off to the dump.
What God builds will withstand any and all storms. Gods work never turns
into a pile of rubble to be cleaned up and discarded.
The third part is where the meat of salvation is explained. How there is only
one way to receive the gift of salvation. We cannot do it on our own by works.
So that no man can boast and say I earned my salvation. I didn't need God to
get into His kingdon.
So lets get started and as I type this messege in I pray that all who are read-
ing these words will thank God and give Him the glory, for they are His words not
mine. That you will learn as much as what I have learned so far.
THROUGH
CHRIST
God sent His only begotten Son into this world in the form of mankind. A
baby that would depend on His earthly mother and father to protect, feed, and
clothe Him.
He felt pain, felt the different emothions that mankind feels. He had to depend
on His parents to teach Him.
I don't know when Jesus started communication with His heavenly Father but
then He was being prepared for what He would have to face years down the road.
At the age of twelve was the first time it is mentioned that Jesus was teach-
ing in the church. Then you don't see Him teaching again until He was in His
thirties.
Jesus went through trials and tribulations just like any other man. The enemy
tried to tempt Jesus when He ws tired, hungry, and thirsty. But as we all know
Jesus did not surcome to the temtations put before Him.
Jesus was obediant to His heavenly Father at all times. He bore no sins in
his lfe on this earth. He was and always will be innocent of any sin that tries to
get in His way while teaching His heavenly Fathers ways. And of course there is
no sin in heaven.
When they arrested Jesus, He did not try to defend Himself. His discipels
knew that Jesus was going to die. Jesus told them. He told them that they
would all deny Him and they did. Jesus was alone.
Jesus allowed them to beat Him beyond recognition. The stripes He bore
were for mankinds healing.
Jesus allowed them to strip Him of His clothing and be humiliated. With this
act of sacrifice He has taken our shame from us.
Jesus carried His own cross to the mountain even though He was half dead
from the beatings he had received. With this act He has taken the burdens of
Gods children from them.
Jesus allowed them to put a crown of thorns on His head and be labeled King
of the Jews. Because Jesus is the King of kings and the Lord of Lords they had
know idea that they had given Him honor with the crown.
Jesus allowed them to nail Him to the cross. You see He had all the sins
of
the world upon Him. He would have to die with all the sins from the beginning of
time to the end of the earth. This allows us to be forgiven and justified of our sins
never to be remembered again.
Jesus defeated death when hell could not hold Him because He bore no
sins of His own. Jesus came out of hell with the key.
When God resurrected Jesus it mad Jesus our intercessor to our heavenly
Father. We would all be condemned to hell without the resurrection of
Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior.
When Jesus assended to heaven He left the Holy Spirit here. That He
would enter us and help us to live a godly life while we are still on this earth.
Gods Word tells us that Jesus is the only way we can enter Gods king-
dom. We have all fallen short of the kingdom of God.
We need to speak to Jesus daily. Speaking to Jesus, as you would a
friend, builds your relationship with Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. Also
read Gods Word and pray.
Turn away from your old ways and live a godly life. We all need to glori-
fy the Lord in everthing that we do.
Jesus took our sickness, pain, shame and burdens to the cross with
him so that we could finally and truly be set free from our sinful ways.
Jesus is the way, the light, and the truth. It is only by asking Jesus to
be the Lord of your life that you will be allowed to enter Gods kingdom.
Jesus paid the price for everyone who will seek Him and live their lives
as Jesus did while He was on this earth.
We all mess up somethimes and must ask for forgiveness. We don't
have to beg simply ask and give thanks for all that Jesus did for you and is
going to do for you.
One man,(Adam), brought sin on to all mankind. One Man, (Jesus),
paid the price for all of mankinds sins. Do you not see the beauty and
wisdom in that statement? Our God ia an Awesome God indeed!!!
BY THE ATONEMENT
I have struggled and prayed over this part of salvation. So I looked up the
word atonement and this is the understanding that God gave me.
atone: To make amends for an offense
or a crime.
When Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior died on the cross , with all the sins
on HIm, He became the atonement of sin. It is only through the pouring out
of His blood that atonement was accomplished.
Some will say , why doesn't God just say your forgiven? The answer to
that qustion is this. The atonement for sin is death, or if you will, eternity in
hell.
Our God is a just God. Some how we hav to make atonement for our sins
before we can enter the kingdom of God. There is no way anyone can accomp-
lish this on our own. We would be in hell.
How would God judge whether we've made atonement for our sins? If He
just said, okay you are forgiven, He would have to let all into heaven even if they
never once turned away from their sins.
Once they entered Gods kingdom why would their behavior be any different
than when they were on earth? God's kingdom would be full of sin. God can't
look at sin.
In the salvation plan there is only one way into God's kingdom. That is
through the blood of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior.
The only way is to believe Jesus is the Son of God. That He died for our
sins. That Jesus defeated death because hell could not hold Him. Jesus had
no sins of His own. That Jesus came out of hell with the key. That God resur-
rected Jesus from the dead. To ask Jesus into your heart. Turn away from the
ways of the world, Satans ways, and live to glorify our Lord Jesus Christ our
savior. When you do this God will be in you, the Holy Spirit, and you will be in
God.
Some call this dying on the cross with Jesus. Actually that is a pretty
good way to think of it. If you are at the cross the blood of Jesus would have
dropped on you. All it takes is one drop of His blood to cleanse you whiter than
a new fallen snow.
If God is not in you, you are still full of the sins you lived in while on this
earth. God cannot look at sin. That is why God could not look at His beloved
Son while He was on the cross. Sin is intalirable in Gods eyes.
While Jesus was on the cross was the first time in His life that He had been
alone and unable to communicate with His heavenly Father.
I cannot even imagine how badly that hurt Jesus. In his obediants to His
heavenly Father, His heavenly Father had to turn away from Jesus because God
cannot look at sin. But I also believe that it really hurt God to have to look away.
I read in a book one day and this is how they explained how God could send
anyone to hell. You and your family get in your car and drive around. You find
the biggest and best mansion you ever saw. So you go and park in the drive and
get out of your car. You knock on the door and when they answer you inform
them that you and your family are moving in with them. Well you can imagine
what their response would be. Of course they would not let you move in. They
probably called the police and had you hauled off to jail and away from their
home.
So when we die if we are not part of God's family why would we expect God
to let us move into His kingdom? That does not mean He is not a loving God It
means that you did not know Him so why would you expect Him to let you into
His kingdom?
Jesus calls each and everyone of us. But if we choose to ignore Him and
refuse to be part of Gods family then that is of our own choice. God will not force
you to be part of His family.
None of us know how long we have to live on this earth. My husband passed
away one year ago. He made His choice to be part of God's family. I know that
when the Lord calls me home I will see Gary again. He is waiting for me.
If you do not know Jesus, or you have fallen away from His ways, maybe to-
day is the day for you to get acquainted to Him and become part of God's family.
If you have fallen away and are not living for Him then maybe it is the day you
should reacquaint yourself with the Lord. To rebuild your relationship with Him.
None of us know if there is a tomorrow for us. Don't miss out on God's kingdom
thinking maybe later. This may be your last chance.
THE RESURRECTION
We were God's enemy before the death of His Son Jesus Christ. We were
full of sin. The world was our God and lived as the world says that we should
live.
Through the death of Christ Jesus we were reconciled to God. But there was
more to it than that.
For those who believed in Jesus Christ. That He is God's beloved Son we
were saved through His death.
But also it gave us hope. The hope for eternal life in God's kingdom, That
one day we would see Jesus. That Jesus Christ is the King of kings and the
Lord of lords.
Through His death we are truly set free from the sins in our lives. The
plan
of salvation was finished when Jesus died on the cross.
Those who loved Jesus when He was on this earth were devestated by His
death. Just like we are when we loose a loved one. When they saw He was a-
live, though He had died, their hope for better days and life after death soared.
Christians today, even though we were not witnesses to all that happened, we
all share the same hope of eternal life in God's kingdom, through faith, and know-
ing the gospel of Christ Jesus our Lord and Savior.
Without the resurrection of Christ there would be no hope for any of us!!!
THE GOSPEL OF CHRIST
Paul wrote most of the New Testiment. He wrote most of it in one prison or
another. He did it through letters. He didn't just write to one person. He wrote
to whole towns. Through his letters many entered God's kingdom.
Paul wrote, I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ. It shows the power
of God. Not only that but salvation to all who will hear and believe in our Lord and
Savior Jesus Christ.
Christians should not be ashamed to speak about Jesus Christ and what
He has done for us. Because Jesus was obediant to His heavenly Father,
those who believe, willl have everlasting life.
Because we believe in the gospel of Christ our last breath on earth will be
our first breath in the kingdom of God.
If we are ashamed to speak of the gospel of Christ, ashamed to admit that
Jesus is our Lord and Savior, then He, God, will be ahamed of us. We will not
be permitted into the kingdom of God.
There is also another side to the gospel of Christ that most of us do not
want to hear or want to know. We just want to focus on how much God loves
us. We want to focus on salvation which was completed with the blood of
Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior.
The other side to the gospel of Christ are warnings. Pit falls that we find
ourselves being tempted by daily.
If we do not heed the warnings, when we take our last breath on earth, our
first breath will not be in God's kingdom. Instead we will find ourselves in
Satans kingdom, hell, with his deamons.
That is why it warns us to turn away from the ways of the world. Turn away
from sin. From the wickedness that came from Adams sin.
The ways of the world are Satans ways. Therefore you cannot say Jesus is
your Lord and Savior and continue to live in the ways of the world. You cannot
be of God's family and live in the ways of the world. We are either God's family
or not. There is no middle ground. With the Holy Spirit residing in us we
must put away our fleshly desires.
We must seek God's ways. Live them the best we can. When we mess
up and give into our human desires we must ask for forgiveness. Then try a-
gain.
Don't fall into the trap the world teaches us. How many times have you
heard someone say, but everyone is doing it? Everyone cheats on their tax-
es. Well guess what it is not okay. Jesus taught us give unto Ceasar what is
Ceasar's and give unto God what is God's.
The gospel of Christ is all that Jesus taught when He walked this earth.
The letters Paul wrote with all the love and all the warnings that Jesus gave
us while He was on this earth, were meant to make people sit up and learn
all things Jesus taught. To heed the warnings of Jesus Christ, so they would
not be deceived by the teachings of the world.
I pray you will all heed the warnings of the gospel of Christ. It will save you
from eternity spent in hell with Satan and his demons.
THE GRACE OF GOD
I thought I would start this part with a definition of grace so that I could get
a better idea of where God wanted me to go with this.
GRACE; The freely given, unmerited favor and love of God.
STATE OF GRACE: the condition of being on God's favor or one of
the elect, or chosen.
All of mankind has sin in them. We hae all fallen short of entering God's king-
dom.
But by God's grace through faith we are forgiven. We have done nothing to
merit that favor of God. It is only because He loves us so much.
In order to receive God's grace we must understand salvation. That is why
God has me writing and teaching exactly what salvation is and how we receive
the free gift of salvation.
We could give food to every hngry person that crossed our path. Give clothes
to all who needed them. Visited the sick in nursing homes and hospitals. All
these things are good works and what we should be doing. But they will not earn
God's grace and free gift of salvation. No man wil enter the kingdom of God with-
out asking Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior into their life.
Without Jesus you cannot be in the state of grace.
There wil be no one in the kingdom who can say, I am here because of all the
good works I did while I was on earth. I am a good person that is why I am in
God's kingdom.
It is not something that we earn. The only eception is babies and those who
have not reached the age of accountability. But even they are there by the grace
of God.
If you know wrong from right, know there is such thing as sin, you must have
a personal relationship with Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, you will not be
given God's grace if you don't.
The suffering that Jesus went through is salvation. Without Jesus in your life
you will miss out on the state of grace.
I have learned so much from these lessons. I pray that all who read these
pages will go to their Bibles and read more than just the scriptures that I have
used. I pray that you have a better understanding of just how awesome God's
salvation plan is. That the knowledge I received from the Lord has given you a
deeper love for Him and all He has done for you. He is not done yet either. Seek
His knowledge and you will receive it. Ask for wisdom before reading scriptures,
that you will understand what they mean.

LIVES IN ALL CHRISTIANS

ing cease.

ed in HIs name to

John 3:14-17; 14) "And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even
so must the Son of Man
be lifted up,
15) "That whoever believes in Him should not parish but have
eternal life.
16) For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten
Son, that whoever
believes in Him should not parish but have ever-
lasting life.
17)
"For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the

John 11:51-52; 51) Now this he did not say on his own authority; but being high
priest that year he prophesied
that Jesus would die for the nation,
52) and not for that nation only, but also that He would gather
together in one the children
of God who were scattered abroad.
Acts 4:12; "Nor is there salvation in any other,

That you should be for salvation to the ends of the
earth."
Acts 16:30-31; 30) And he brought them out and said, "Sirs, what must I do to
be saved?"
31) So they said, "Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you will
be saved, you and your household."
Romans 5:15-21; 15) But the free gift is not like the offense. For is by one man's
offense many died,much more the
grace of God and the gift by the
grace of the one Man, Jesus
Christ abounded to many.
16)And the gift is not like which came through the one who
sinned. For the judgement
which came from one offense resulted in
condemnation, but the free
gift which came from many offenses resul-
ted in justification.
17) For if by one mans offense death reigned through the one
much more those who receive
abundance of grace and of the gift of
righteousness will reign in life
through the one Jesus Christ.
18) Therefore, as through one man's offense judgment came to
all men, resulting in condemnation,
even so through one Man's right-
eous act the free gift came to
all men, resulting in justification of life.
19)
For as by one mans's disobedience many were made sin-
ners, so also by one Man's obedience
many will be made righteous.
20) Moreover the law entered that the offense might abound,
But where sin abounded, grace
abounded much more,
21) so that as sin reigned in death, even so grace might reign
through righteousness to eternal
life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Romans 7:24-25; 24) O wretched man that I am! Who will deliver me from this
body of death?
25) I thank God----Through Jesus Christ our Lord! So then, with
the mind I myself serve the law of
God, but with the flesh the law of sin.
Romans 9:30-33; 30) What shall we say then? That Gentiles, who did not pursue
righteousness, have attained to righteousness,
even the righteousness of
faith;
31)
But Israel, pursuing the law of righteousness, has not at-
tained to the law of rihteousness.
32) Why? Because they did not seek it by faith, but as it were,
by the works of the law. For
"they stumbled at that stumbling stone.
33) As it is written: "Behold I lay in Zion a stumbling stone and
rock of offense, And whoever believes
on Him will not be put to shame."

cording to His good pleasure which
He purposed in Himself,
10) that in the dispensation of the fullness of the times He
might gather together in one
all things in Christ, both which are in hea-
ven and which are on earth----in
